Kimiko “Koko” Kobayashi is a lifelong equestrian, nonprofit leader, and aspiring author and speaker who believes in leadership with horsepower and resilience with heart. Since 1998, she has worked professionally in the equestrian world, and for the past 7½ years has led MARE Riding Center, a nonprofit providing equine-assisted services for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities. Under her leadership, MARE has more than doubled its funding, expanded programs, and created space for more healing and miracles to unfold.

 

Kimiko’s passion now extends beyond the arena and the nonprofit sector into transformational speaking and writing. Her upcoming book, Most Wanted, shares her personal journey of overcoming shame, finding healing, and discovering joy on the other side of hardship. Through her talks and writing, she inspires audiences to rise above obstacles, embrace purpose, and move beyond the hurdles with courage and hope.
